- Letter From Gwen Huneck
Dear Friends,
Architecture is very much on my mind today
for several reasons. We were delighted to
have Architectural Digest visit Dog Mountain to photograph the Dog Chapel.
While much has been written about the inspirational aspects of the Dog Chapel, it is rewarding for me to see Stephen's visionary chapel being recognized for it's architectural merit. I am constantly amazed at his talent for designing blissful and life-giving environments.
Another architectural labor of love has been the cottage at Dog Mountain, aptly named the "Healing House". It was Stephen's desire to create a place of peace, tranquility, and rebirth. Simply put, the "Healing House" makes you feel good.
Sometimes, the joy is in the making and not in the keeping. We are finding it difficult to maintain both the Dog Chapel and the Healing House. We wanted to afford Stephen's collectors the chance to own an important piece of architecture, as well as a wonderful home.

One of the attributes I love most about the "Healing House" are the many built-in furniture pieces. Stephen combines spectacular Vermont hardwoods with casual and painted sculptural elements resulting in cabinet workboth fresh and timeless. Click here to read the entire description of the property.
The two bedroom home is priced to sell at $295,000. If you would like to inquire further, please contact Stephen and I personally at

Even if you are not in the market for a new home, consider commisioning a piece of furniture and bring Stephen's unique sensibility to your home.
Warmest Wishes, Gwen Huneck
